There is a cloud over our city. I believe God’s favor is turned towards us, at the same time. And, I believe that if we pray, healing will come.
Most people look at Birmingham and think that the darkest part of our history was during the Civil Rights movement. Though that time was dark for sure, most of the issues Birmingham faces are far deeper and far more historical.
- Does it matter that the highest point in our city is the statue of a god that people actually worshiped?
- Does it matter that our city was birthed through “control” and “deceit”?
- Is it a coincidence that the same powers that Pan, Electra, Vesta, and other gods exercised… that we see the effects of those powers in our city?
This document wrestles with these challenges and provides a roadmap towards freedom.
